I am currently completing my BA (Hons) Radio and Digital Production degree at University of Westminster. Radio has been a massive passion of mine, I have been involved in radio since I was younger starting out with local youth radio. At the moment I am heavily involved with my student radio station ‘Smoke Radio’ which is an award winning student station. I have a love for hip hop and grime music along with streetwear fashion. My hobbies include DJing and producing my own music as I love the creativity it provides. I also have a passion for writing about music and fashion which I do on my personal blog. I write for MISSBISH aswell which is a lifestyle / news website that celebrates women and I also write for Lost Culture writing about grime music and streetwear fashion.
I have worked for audioBoom where I was interviewing and editing audio for London Comic Con 2016 and National Student Pride 2017 which is on their website. I have produced, podcasted and created digital content for Soho Radio, Radar Radio and currently for Rinse FM. I also had a month long internship at production company Somethin Else where I have produced content on ‘Mercury Prize’ website, transcribing for BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra and Channel 4. On top of that, I have produced research for Trevor Nelson’s scripts in which he uses, in depth research for Radio 4’s ‘The Kitchen Cabinet’ and working as a proofer and editor on ‘The Economist Audio Edition’ every week.
I see myself presenting on the radio in the future as it is a massive passion of mine. I also love editing audio and interviewing people.
